FLOW-THROUGH CELLS

Spectrex can provide custom flow-through cells to attach to the PC-2000 Laser Particle Counter. (See picture below). Starting with Exhibit A, this special nickel alloy cell was developed for Battelle Northwestern for monitoring geo-thermal brine at high temperatures and pressures. Sapphire windows are used.

Exhibit B, the dark delrin cell, provides an extremely short laser light path through the sample. The laser no longer scans and pulses are generated by the movement of the particles as they pass through the cell. Thus, high concentration samples can be tested without coincident counts.

Exhibit C is a special design to avoid bubbles interfering with the count. The final cell, Exhibit D, is made of brass and can be connected by swage-lock connectors to any water-treatment plant line.
